What is a toner?
Toner is a Demi - permanent color that doesn’t lift the color of the hair, it can give hair a specific shade, for example make it cooler, warmer or neutral. Toner can be applied on brunettes to either enhance the already existing color or make it warmer or cooler (it will never make brunette hair lighter).
For blondes toner can darken hair or make it cooler, warmer, neutral. Blondes can even tone their hair any color they want!
