Hot weather is great! ☀️
It puts us in a good mood and increases our vitamin D levels. But too much of a good thing will leave you burnt. If you find yourself with a red face tonight, here’s a few things that can help soothe and repair sunburnt skin.

1. Hydrate your body by drinking quality electrolytes and green tea. Ditch the alcohol. 💦
2. Do not use skincare actives such as retinol, glycolic acid, etc., until your skin has properly healed. This means several days up to a week.
3. Reschedule professional treatments, such as micro needling, chemical, peels, or micro dermabrasion until your skin is healed.
3. Do use calming, soothing skin care, including a hydrating sheet mask. I recommend putting it in the refrigerator an hour before using.
4. Moisturize like it’s your job using a mild barrier protective cream or lotion to help the skin rebuild itself.
5. Increase your lean protein and vitamin C as these help rebuild collagen and repair damaged tissues.🍉🍊
6. And for the love of God, apply SPF and stay in the shade. 😎
