Sneak peek from my clinic photoshoot.
I wanted updated photos that show what treatment actually looks like here: focused, hands-on, and based on assessment.
I treat a mix of neck pain, headaches, jaw/TMJ concerns, muscle tension, mobility issues, and everyday aches that start getting in the way.
New website and booking updates are coming soon.

Stop icing every injury. Yeah, I said it.
Most of us grew up hearing the same advice: hurt something, put ice on it. Twisted ankle? Ice. Sore shoulder? Ice. Something feels swollen, angry, or weird? Ice.
But I don’t usually recommend ice as the automatic first choice anymore.
The old advice was called RICE: rest, ice, compression, elevation.
It was introduced in the late 1970s by Dr. Gabe Mirkin, a sports medicine physician. But years later, he changed his position and said ice and complete rest may actually delay healing instead of helping.
That doesn’t mean ice is evil.
It means we probably shouldn’t treat it like the automatic answer for every sprain, strain, bruise, ache, or “I moved weird and now my body hates me” moment.
Ice can numb pain for a bit, and sometimes that can be useful. But numbing pain is not the same thing as helping the tissue heal.
When you injure something, your body sends blood flow, fluid, and repair cells to the area. That swelling, warmth, and tenderness can feel annoying, but it’s often part of the repair process.
Inflammation is not always the enemy. A lot of the time, it’s your body doing its job.
What do I usually prefer instead?
Gentle movement within comfort. Compression if it feels good. Elevation if it helps. Water. Sleep. And gradually using the area again instead of fully babying it.
You don’t need to force through sharp pain. That’s not the point.
You also don’t need to panic every time your body reacts with swelling or soreness.
Your body is not broken. It is responding.
The goal is to support the healing process, calm the nervous system, and help the area feel safe moving again.
Move it, to prove it - but keep it reasonable.
And of course, if you have severe pain, major swelling, numbness, weakness, loss of function, deformity, signs of infection, or you think something could be fractured, get it checked.
Massage can help with a lot, but it’s not a replacement for medical care.

One assessment. One treatment. One session.
This client loves yoga, walking, cycling, and the gym, but a fall on the ice in 2022 tore ligaments in her right shoulder. Even after arthroscopic shoulder surgery, she continued to deal with stiffness and limited movement.
Because this was her first visit, we spent part of the appointment reviewing her health history, discussing previous injuries, and completing a thorough assessment before treatment. Even with less hands-on treatment time than a typical follow-up visit, the improvement in her shoulder mobility was significant.
Using a combination of RAPID NeuroFascial Reset and manual therapy, we focused on her shoulders, lower back, and hips.
The before-and-after photos say more than I ever could.
If shoulder pain, stiffness, or restricted movement is stopping you from working out, enjoying your hobbies, or simply moving comfortably, don’t wait for it to become your new normal. The first step is finding out why it’s happening.
Book your assessment today and let’s see what we can improve together.

Summer is here, and for many people that means more yard work, hiking, travel, golf, cycling, running, and long hours spent outside. It also means more sore backs, tight shoulders, stiff hips, headaches, and muscle tension.
If you’ve been putting off booking a massage, now is a good time to deal with those aches before they start affecting your day-to-day activities.
I currently have evening and weekend appointments available to help fit treatment into your schedule. New clients are welcome, direct billing is available to most insurance companies, and online booking is available 24/7 through my website.

1 treatment.
Noticeable mobility changes.
This client came in with restricted movement, tightness, and pain during everyday motions like bending forward and reaching overhead. After a full assessment and treatment using a combination of techniques, especially RAPID NeuroFascial Reset, she left moving better with less restriction and improved range of motion.
These results happened within a single session, including assessment time.
A lot of people get used to feeling stiff, tight, or limited and assume it’s something they just have to live with. In many cases, the body is compensating for an underlying issue that hasn’t been properly addressed.
RAPID NeuroFascial Reset focuses on reducing tension patterns, adhesions, and movement restrictions that can develop from stress, injury, repetitive strain, or compensation patterns over time.
If you’re dealing with:
• Tightness that keeps returning
• Pain with movement
• Limited mobility
• Chronic muscle tension
• Pulling, pinching, or sharp sensations
There’s usually a reason behind it.

Just added some new wall art and RAPID NeuroFascial Reset certifications to the treatment room.
The posters are from Anatomy Trains by Thomas Myers and are mainly there for educational purposes. They show how muscles, fascia, and connective tissue work together in continuous lines through the body instead of acting as isolated parts.
A few examples:
• Superficial Back Line — linked to posture, hamstrings, calves, low back tension, and movement patterns.
• Deep Front Line — connected to core stability, breathing mechanics, hips, and overall support.
• Lateral Line — helps explain side-to-side balance, gait, and compensations.
I like using visuals like these because they help explain why pain or tightness in one area can sometimes be coming from somewhere completely different.
Also added my RAPID NeuroFascial Reset certifications for upper body, core, and lower body treatment. RAPID is one of the main techniques I use for chronic pain, mobility restrictions, nerve tension, and stubborn injuries.
