I have made the decision to close my salon. Im happy to discuss how I reached this decision with any of you, but for the sake of keeping it brief here, just know I am following my heart.
Now for the nitty gritty.
If you have a wedding booked with me, I’ve reached out to you already and I look forward to being a small part of your big day!
I am open until the end of June, if you have an appointment already scheduled, I’ll see you then!
If you don’t have an appointment, I’m very sorry, but please reach out and I’ll give you some recommendations for other stylists and provide you with your colour formula!
I want to thank you all for your support and making this career in this amazing industry so wonderful. Xo

This morning I got to have some sister time! We freshened up and I love love love the curls that are on the floor after, aren’t they so cute? Anyway. I love working with all textures of hair, and strongly feel like everyone should embrace what they have! Isn’t there something so amazing about curly hair?! 😍

I’m ready for you, the question is, are you ready for me?
I’ve been reminding myself all week to remember not to talk everyone’s face off the second they come in the door 😂
The fact is, I probably still will. Sorry.
But the main reason I came on here was to thank this husband of mine. I for sure would not be ready if it wasn’t for Spencer. You may not know this, but he’s not just a pretty face. This guy made this big beautiful mirror in the picture happen- with the help of a brilliant carpenter- he scrubbed my floors, helped me paint, renovated my bathroom and a million other small things all after working a full day in his own shop! Thank you , thanks to my family and friends for your help, suggestions, masks and all of you who are patiently waiting for an appointment! I’ll see you all soon!

Happy Thursday!
I got a little wild here this afternoon and changed my handle. I often find myself debating if I should post something to my IG even if it isn’t hair related. The result is an average of 2 posts a year 😂. So let me reintroduce you to my very hairy Instagram page. I want to thank everyone who reached out in need of a hair appointment! I’m getting excited to finally see you all again!
I have booked as many appointments as I can safely manage for the time being. That doesn’t mean if I haven’t contacted you, that you won’t get an appointment. You are still in your spot on my list. As we all know, nothing is certain at the moment, so I will be slowly opening only a couple weeks worth of appointments at a time. This will allow for me to adjust as restrictions change and I better learn to work in this new way. If you aren’t sure if you’re on my list, feel free to reach out! Thank you all for your patience!

Update!
I will be back in the salon on SUNDAYS only beginning May 24!
This will be my only day in the salon for the duration for phase 2. When we are able to move into phase 3, my schedule will hopefully return to my normal operation hours.
I will be contacting you to schedule an appointment as soon as I can. Please keep in mind that I am only one person, working 1 day a week with enhanced health and safety measures. This may take me a while to get to you all. If you wish to book an appointment and haven’t already contacted me, let me know, and I will add you to my list! Thank you in advance for your patience! There is nothing more important to me than your safety and comfort when you visit my salon.
That is why I pledge to adhere to the highest standards.
I have taken measures prior to opening that adhere and surpass what is asked by government regulations.
I miss you all very much but, no handshakes, hugs or high fives!
I will only allow entrance into my business for those guests who already have an appointment.
Elderly needing support or assistant are permitted to be accompanied by a caregiver.
Only the guest who has an appointment with me is permitted into the salon. Friends or extra family members will have to wait outside and admire the chickens 😉
I am not accepting walk-ins.
All guests are to come with their own mask, or one will be provided for an additional fee. No service will be permitted unless the guest and the service provider have one on.
I will be providing only the essential services; cuts/trims, and colour services. To accommodate the large list of people waiting I’m temporarily not providing blow dry or styling services.
When you enter the business, you will need to sanitize your hands provided inside the door before moving into the salon. When you leave the business, you will be expected to hand sanitize your hands as well.
I’ve missed you. So, I hope you can adapt to our “New Normal”

Today we were all given a bit of hope! I am as excited as you all are to get back in the salon song long as it remains safe to do so! Our PEI Hairdressers Association have been very hard at work to create new protocols to help keep us all safe. We are waiting for approval of these new conditions and I promise that as soon as I know how we are expected to proceed, I will let you all know my schedule and will be ready to book you in! I really look forward to connecting with every single one you again. (Even if it’s behind a mask or two!) Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has reached out, checked in and offered support! I appreciate all you so much! I hope to see you soon ♥️
