Haircuts for Anyone + Coupes pour tous

For September 30, we will be donating all profits from the salon to Resilience Montreal/ the Native Women's Shelter of Montreal, as a gesture towards the ongoing work of reconciliation and decolonization.

Please note that from now on, everyone over the age of 12 will be required to show proof of two vaccine doses prior to receiving their haircut. We are doing our best to protect your privacy, which includes covering the name that appears with your QR code on our scanner. Thanks for your cooperation!

Dear clients,

We will be officially allowed to welcome you back into our shop as of June 15th! You can now start booking yourself in with us now for your next haircut: https://haircutsforanyone.setmore.com. We have made many changes to the way we will be operating in order to take every possible precaution to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, so please read carefully!

Until further notice when you arrive for your appointment, you will have to wait outside and if you bring a friend, they will not be able to come into the shop. Given the small size of our space, we will only be able to have one client and one hairdresser in the shop at any given time, and you won't be able to bring a backpacks or personal item inside unless it is small enough to keep on your lap.

Our hairdressers will be wearing a mask and visor at all times while cutting your hair. We will also be disinfecting the space, all tools and equipment, and washing our hands before and after each client.

Our clients are required to use the hand sanitizer that we will be providing and wear their own mask that has ear loops, the whole time they are in the shop. If you show up without a mask you will not be able to get your haircut and you will be asked to pay a cancellation fee for the missed appointment.

We will not be able to blow dry your hair for the moment, so please show up with your hair relatively clean with little or no product in it.

Please also note that we will still be accepting cash and some cards, but we won't be able to give you any change, so please bring exact change!

You must reschedule your appointment if you are coughing, sneezing, have a fever, if you have recently lost your sense of smell, or if you had or have been in contact with someone who had a positive SARS-COV2 test in the past 2 weeks.

Nous ouvrirons officiellement les portes de notre salon de coiffure le 15 juin! Vous pouvez dès maintenant prendre rendez-vous avec notre système informatisé: https://haircutsforanyone.setmore.com. Nous avons apporté de nombreux changements afin de prendre toutes les précautions nécessaires pour éviter la propagation du Coronavirus. Prenez donc soin de lire soigneusement nos nouvelles procédures.

Jusqu’à ce que nous recevions de nouvelles instructions, notez que lorsque vous arrivez pour votre rendez-vous, il faudra que vous attendiez à l’extérieur et que vos amis ne pourront vous suivre à l’intérieur. Nous acceptons qu’il n’y ait qu’un seul client et coiffeur à la fois dans le salon. Vous ne pourrez apporter vos sacs ou objets personnels à l’intérieur, à moins qu’ils ne puissent tenir sur vos genoux.

Nos coiffeurs porteront masques et visières pour leur et votre sécurité lors de votre rendez-vous. Ils prendront également soin de désinfecter les lieux, leurs outils et accessoires, les chaises, ainsi que leurs mains entre chaque client.

Il vous sera demandé de désinfecter vos mains en entrant et de porter votre propre masque pouvant se tenir sur vos oreilles en tout temps. Si vous vous présentez sans masque, vous ne serez pas en mesure d’entrer et devrez assumer les frais d’annulation de votre rencontre.

Nous ne pourrons nettoyer ou sécher vos cheveux, nous vous demandons donc de vous présenter avec une chevelure relativement propre et sans produits.

Vous pourrez toujours payer avec certaines carte ou argent comptant. Toutefois, il ne nous est pas permis de remettre de monnaie; apportez donc le montant exact.

Vous devrez annuler si vous présentez des signes tel que la toux, l’éternuement, la fièvre, la perte de l’odorat, ou si vous avez été en contact avec une personne ayant eu un résultat positif au SARS-COV2 dans les deux dernières semaines.

We are just as anxious about reopening as all of you. Yesterday we had news from the Quebec government that hair salons OUTSIDE of Montreal will be allowed to open at the beginning of June. You will all be the first to know when we receive any more information about the reopening of salons in the city of Montreal. As of now, we are still not permitted to open, and we unfortunately have no specific details about when it will be possible.

While we wait, we are making plans to put in to effect all the precautions and health measures we can to keep our salon as safe as possible for our clients and hairdressers, when the time comes to reopen.

Until then, please stay safe and social distanced if you can!

Nous sommes aussi impatients que vous quant à la ré-ouverture du salon. Aujourd’hui, nous avons reçu de nouvelles informations du gouvernement selon lesquelles les salons de coiffures pourront ouvrir leurs portes au début de juin EN DEHORS de la ville de Montréal. Vous serez les premiers informés s’il y a de nouvelles indications par rapport à cette mesure.

Pour l’instant, nous devrons être patient avant d’en savoir plus. Pendant ce temps, nous mettons sur pied des moyens de précautions pour la santé de nos clients et coiffeurs, pour quand viendra la temps de réouvrir.

D’ici là, restez prudents et gardez vos distances si vous le pouvez!

Update:
It was very difficult for us to make this decision, since we are both self-employed workers whose livelihoods are reliant on being able to cut your hair. However, in the interest of public health and slowing down the spread of Covid-19, Haircuts for Anyone will be closed for the next two weeks.
If you have an appointment booked with us this week or next week, it will need to be rescheduled.
Thank you for your understanding and continuous support of our small business, we appreciate all of our loyal clients more that you will ever know, and we are looking forward to cutting your hair as soon as we reopen.

Coupe pour tous tient à prendre des précautions afin de prévenir la propagation du Coronavirus. Nos coiffeurs laveront leurs mains, outils et équipements entre chaque coupe. Nous insisterons à ce que chaque client se désinfecte les mains en entrant et en sortant de notre salon; nous fournissons gracieusement le désinfectant.
