Hello my tribe!
❤️I love this time of year!
Tomorrow my family and I will be celebrating a new year…Rosh Hashanah … which opens for us who celebrate, a period of intense retrospection that leads up to our moment of atonement next week. And thus the photo on my post!
It’s my favourite Jewish holiday!
It’s a joyous holiday in which people celebrate and hope for themselves, their family, etc. a sweet new year to come, a happier, an enriching New Year filled with love and joy. This will be my family’s first year without our mom, nana, grandma, and great grandma. 🦋 You are missed mom!

For me it’s definitely always a time of self reflection to reset and to reevaluate my life, my purpose, my vision, my mission and my areas for growth, especially in my connections and interactions with my friends, family and community.
I ask myself these questions:
What do I want to still achieve?
What can I do differently?
What can I do to ripple out more love?
How can I serve my community or those in need?
What’s still left for me to do that I’m meant to do?
And the answers set me up for the many months that follow.

Leaving Prince Edward Island was not an easy task.
Basically leaving anything with which you fall in love, is not an easy task. These past many months saw a lot of goodbyes… my mom, our dog, our house, the cottage, jobs, our social life, close contacts, hugs etc. I loved what this quote had to say. We are a part of everything we have loved and everything we have loved has a part of us within.

This particular trip was exactly what we needed to feel like human beings again. It’s a magical island upon which we have left footprints in the sand… red and white, renewed friendships, met up with cousins, explored the dunes, interacted with cultures, Acadian and MicMaq, inhaled the Islander friendliness, soaked up the sun, ate the specialties of the land and sea and relaxed, renewed, revitalized!

I hope if you are reading this, you are also able to travel again to a place you fall in love with, feeling the magic and leaving your own uniqueness, your personal footprint behind ! 🦶
