As the industry grows; nail art gets more elaborate; nail shapes and lengths become more varied; appointments take longer; product costs increase... it's no surprise that service charges occasionally shift to reflect those demands.

I put a lot of thought into how to structure my price menu and when to update it (it's been over two years). I also recognise that a lot of people just want short, functional, durable nails that make it easier to live their busy lives without worrying about painful or unsightly broken nails - I got you. There's nothing here that will induce stickershock, but please take a moment to have a look and let me know if you have any questions.

I might add that I personally LOVE IT when my clients do most of the talking! (Because holy moly sometimes it's nearly impossible to focus and create AND string a number of [coherent] sentences together... in a row 😅)

Getting your nails done is more than just a beauty service.

For many clients, it becomes a safe space to talk, to open up, and to feel heard without judgment.

Now imagine holding that space for others every single day.

Eight to ten hours of intense focus, detailed physical work, emotional presence, and constant conversation, all while maintaining high standards and precision.

Sometimes, the quiet has nothing to do with you.

A nail tech may be tired, unwell, processing something personal, or simply conserving energy to show up fully and do their job properly.

The more we speak, the more time a manicure can take.

While we love chatting and connecting, there are moments when we go quiet so we can concentrate, work efficiently, and respect your time without rushing the service.

Silence is often the only moment a nail tech has to breathe. Between clients, between stories, between responsibilities, quiet can be the reset that allows them to keep showing up for everyone else.
