I have accepted a full time position starting mid October and will be shutting my page down soon afterwards.

These last 2.5 years have been amazing, I’ve met so many amazing clients who felt like friends (and many I do consider friends)! When I started this career, I was looking for a creative outlet as I was a stay at home homeschooling mom for over a decade. You’ve seen me and supported me through divorce and regaining independence and confidence as I navigated life as a newly single mom.

Did you know that when I first started Nomad Esthetics, I had planned on offering mobile manicure services? Hence the “Nomad” in my business name! I had bought and renovated a micro tiny home which was to become the travelling studio of my dreams. But alas, life had other plans and I got divorced instead. 🙃

Two years later, I’ve been given the opportunity to finally offer mobile services and I’m so excited!

Details:
- Appointments will be available beginning September 9th.
- To start, only manicures will be the only service available. Lash Lift & Tints and pedicures will be offered soon!
- Prices will remain at $50 for South Nanaimo from South Parkway Plaza (Buckerfields) to Country Club Centre. $55 For North Nanaimo from Country Club to Woodgrove Mall and $60 for Lantzville and Yellowpoint.

Effective September 1st, I will no longer be working out of my Metral Dr studio space.

The house that I rent my room from is up for sale and my youngest is transitioning to public school so September is the perfect time to say goodbye to my sweet little space.

I am so grateful to Jenelle of .nanaimo as well as her family for being so supportive as I expanded my business.
I have never felt truly comfortable in most salon settings and knew the clientele I wanted to serve didn’t feel comfortable or even safe in most salon settings either. The nail industry (and esthetics industry as a whole) is not always welcoming to a lot of folx and I really wanted to have a little space where people could feel safe to explore their creativity through nail art. I’m so thankful to have been able to provide that.

I will still be available for mobile appointments, which I will share more on very soon!

If you are a client of mine and are looking for a new nail tech because mobile doesn’t work for you, I totally understand and support that. Please DM me and I will happily share several recommendations! I do still have a few appointments available next week, so either text or DM to book. I have Thursday and Friday availability.
