Starting tretinoin & suddenly your skin is peeling, red, or breaking out? 😩
A little dryness, flaking, & even some purging can be completely normal as your skin adjusts. The key is knowing the difference between a temporary adjustment period & true irritation.

Mild peeling? Normal.
Temporary purging? Normal.
❌ Burning, raw, painful skin? Not normal.

The biggest mistake I see? Prescribed and told to use it everyday causing severe irritation. Gradually is key when introducing tretinoin.
