I may not be the one doing the makeover, but I am the one making sure you’re booked with the right tech, on the right date, at the right time, with everything you need for your appointment.

Me: “Okay, I’m just gonna post it and forget about it. I genuinely don’t care how many views it gets.”

Also me, approximately 4 minutes and 37 seconds later: opens TikTok 👁️👄👁️

“Hmm… interesting. Only 46 views.”

Refreshes.

“Okay, 52. We’re gaining traction.”

Refreshes again 12 seconds later.

“WHY IS IT STUCK AT 53?!”

Now I’m analyzing the likes-to-views ratio, checking who watched it, wondering if I should delete and repost, contemplating changing the caption, blaming the algorithm, and convincing myself that maybe it just needs “a little more time.”

Meanwhile, someone who posted a video of their cat blinking has 2.7 million views.

Anyway, I’ll be back in 5 minutes to check again because clearly THIS is the one that’s going to change my life. 💀😂
