I haven't shared on this page for a while, but this article felt extremely important to share.
Not every ingredient in your cosmetics makes the ingredients list, and what you don't know CAN hurt you, and the environment.

It sure has been an adventure lately hasn't it?
While I've been quiet on this page, I've been vocal elsewhere, and attempting to help those around me by spreading a little soap love.
I chose to even use soap for my Architectural projects, using soap as a medium (instead of paper or cardstock) and using/donating the remainder.
I've contributed to care packages going to first responders and care providers, I've dropped off packages at friends houses.
I've made.soap cupcakes to bring to friends birthday drive through parades, and mailed soap frogs and soap rainbows for neices and nephews to make washing a little more fun.
My daughter now has several pieces of purple soap around the house and treats them like toys.
I guess what I'm sharing is that this is a weird time, ready for all the solutions you can come up with to adapt. So try something different, be as generous as you can, and don't be afraid to make things up as you go. I'll be the first to applaud your ingenuity.
Be well my friends, and let me know if you need any soap!!!

I've spent a lot of years trying to remove the nasty chemicals out of my routine, and as a result I learned how to make lots of different kinds of soap. I made it fun, making it with wine or coffee, or making it look like food: cupcakes to cheese and everything in between.
Now, I'm making as much as I can for other reasons. In this day and age especially, soap really can save lives.
This is a batch of my plain, coconut-castille soap. It's my Frank's red hot of soaps, in that I use it for EVERYTHING. It's my hand, face, baby, dishwasher, washing machine, solid or liquid everything soap...
And after a lot of soul searching, I feel like this might be the best thing I can do for the days ahead and to help my community.
The challenge now, is getting more oils. Soap is basically reacted oil, so several pounds of soap can be attributed to several pounds of oils, which is why healthy, organic soap is so expensive.
I've been trying to find a way to help others through these tough times, and I'm hoping for some help in attaining more coconut oil and olive oil, which I usually buy from Costco. If anyone has full unopened containers of either coconut or olive oil, I'd happily trade for some finished soap. I'm hoping to help organizations in need as well, so the more oils, the merrier please.

A baby soap bouquet for a beautiful baby shower.
Mother's milk soap, and two bars of buttermilk soap with roses and so much lavender and rosemary. A fragrant bouquet, with unscented, very mild soap for a very, very special occasion.
Congrats to mom and dad to be, you can bring this soap to the hospital for babies first bath. They're gentle enough for day one of life, and all the days after. 🌼
