✨ Meet Kirsten! ✨
We’re so excited to welcome Kirsten Hillyer to the salon family!
She’ll be with us Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and is officially accepting new clients.

Kirsten graduated from VIU in July 2025 and has spent the past year growing her craft behind the chair. She has a true passion for all things curls from care and styling to helping you embrace and celebrate your natural texture. She also loves creating fun, vibrant colours that bring out each guest’s unique personality.

Originally from Nanaimo, Kirsten has recently made her way back home after spending the past year in the Comox Valley. And when she’s not in the salon, you’ll catch her paddle boarding, enjoying live music, or recharging with a good snack.

The R+Co Excursion was incredible and intense — in the most amazing way. We left feeling so inspired and reinvigorated, bursting with fresh ideas to bring back behind the chair. We can’t wait for you all to see what’s coming to the salon!

One of my favourite parts of this experience was connecting and networking with so many incredible stylists from around the world. I left feeling supported, inspired, and reminded that we’re never alone in this industry. I can’t wait to keep growing these new relationships.

We’re looking for one model with naturally curly hair who’s open to a layered, shag-inspired cut with bangs. This haircut will be complimentary as part of our advanced training session.
