Coming up on one year in July since I started my journey with waterless skincare, and my skin has never felt or looked better.
This last 10 months I’ve stepped back from skin treatments, Botox, facials not because I don’t love them but because I just haven’t had the spare time😮💨 It continues to amaze me how hydrated and healthy my skin looks, even though I haven’t been leaning into these things that I used to feel like I had to.
Fine lines have softened, skin isn’t ever flaky anymore (my forehead has always been my trouble area), breakouts are rare, discolouration has faded.
I may not be posting every week about my skincare routine, but my bathroom cabinet is still stocked at all times with Oliveda, because this stuff has changed my skin.
I’m almost out of a few of my favourite things right now, the F38 Gel Cleanser, F11 Facial Toner, F74 Face Cream (barrier repair HEAVEN) and my go to F83 Vitamin C Serum, which are all 35% off right now (even bigger discount for members👏🏽). Prom 2026 season officially wraps up this week! This year has been a busy one, and it’s been on my mind to share my thoughts and feeling about this year specifically, because it felt extra special.
I wanted to send a big congratulations to all the parents of grads that were sent my way for their prom and/or graduation tans. These girls were so great. I thought many times over the last couple months how this was such a grown up group of girls. They were all so kind, so polite, everyone was incredibly respectful of the process and of my time. Everyone followed directions. And the girls were just so darn lovely! Well done to the parents, and huge thank you to all my prom girls. You made this season so enjoyable for me 🤍
Side note; there’s nothing that makes a service provider more thrilled than sending them photos or tagging them in photos. It seems simple, but with so many people through our door this time of year, it’s impossible for us to try and search out photos. You literally bring a huge smile to our face when you share these, so thank you for that 🥰🫶🏽

Some days you find yourself in the school parking lot, tears flowing, trying to pull yourself together before the kids hop in.
And then… you take a deep breath and you walk into work.
You turn the music on.
You smile, you laugh.
You ask how their week’s been.
You mix the solution.
You do what you’ve done ten thousand times before.
For that hour, it’s not about you. It’s about creating a space where someone else feels comfortable, taken care of… maybe even a little more confident when they walk out the door.
I think a lot of us are carrying things no one sees.
We’re navigating motherhood, stress, worry, exhaustion… and still showing up in the roles people rely on us for. Not perfectly, but in the best way we possibly can.
Today was one of those days for me.
But if you were in my salon tonight, you wouldn’t have known that. That’s the kind of strength a lot of women are walking around with.
We hold it together. We show up. We take care of our people.
And then we go home and feel it all.
My promise to you as my clients is that I will always be a safe space for you. Come as you are. Messy, full of emotion, sometimes on the verge of (or in full blown) breakdown. I’ve been there. You’ve got a friend in me 🤍
