Let water change the texture.
Your skin may not need exactly the same thing every day. Or in every season but your cream can stay the same.
Apply Ritual of Roses to freshly misted skin.
For a lighter application, moisten your fingertips and massage it in.
For more richness and protection, use less moisture underneath.
Weather, hormones, environment and season all influence what your skin needs.
The formula stays the same.
You adjust the ritual.

RITUAL OF ROSES
Nourish • Soften • Restore luminosity
As skin changes with age and hormonal shifts, it often needs more nourishment, more hydration and greater barrier support — not necessarily more aggressive treatment.
Ritual of Roses was formulated for exactly that.
Rose hydrosols provide the aqueous foundation. Nootka rose, rosehip and hibiscus bring layers of botanical support, while niacinamide supports barrier function and bakuchiol helps address the visible appearance of texture and fine lines.
The result is skin that feels softer, more comfortable and deeply nourished, with the luminosity that well-supported skin naturally reflects.
Your age isn't something your skincare needs to erase.

MIST FIRST. Then layer.
Mist isn't an optional finishing touch in my skincare rituals.
It's the beginning.
Apply Nectar while your skin is still damp, allowing its humectant-rich formula to work alongside that added moisture. Follow with your cream to help hold hydration within the skin.
Mist ~ Nectar ~ Mist ~ Cream
Need more hydration? Mist between layers.
A simple change in application can completely change how your skincare performs.

Deep hydration • Plumpness • Barrier support
Sometimes what looks like “aging skin” is simply under-hydrated skin asking for more support.
Nectar surrounds the skin with layers of botanical hydration.
Lemon balm hydrosol forms its foundation. Tremella provides water-binding polysaccharides. Marshmallow root contributes soothing mucilage, while seaweed bioferment adds another layer of polysaccharide-rich hydration.
As hydration improves, skin can appear plumper, smoother and more supple, and dehydration lines become less pronounced.
Beautiful skin doesn't require erasing age.
Sometimes it simply needs to be replenished.

Seeing rose on an ingredient list tells you only part of the story.
A hydrosol captures something different from an oil infusion. A glycerite extracts different plant constituents again.
This is why you may find the same botanical represented in several forms within one Sage’s Sparrow formula.
Not because more ingredients are better.
Because how a plant is prepared determines what it brings to the skin.

Many of the ingredients in Sage’s Sparrow begin here.
Lavender. Lemon balm. Calendula. Roses. Chamomile. Plantain. Chickweed. Nettle.......the list goes on
They aren't grown and harvested simply to tell a botanical story. They become hydrosols, glycerites, infusions and extracts that I use in my formulations.
Growing plants and collecting weeds myself gives me an intimacy with the ingredients that I value deeply — from soil, to harvest, to extraction, to skin.
Seed to bottle, on a very small scale.
