✨ Lash Health = Lash Longevity ✨

Lately, I’ve had several new clients come in with very damaged natural lashes — and I want to take a moment to gently educate and protect your lash health. 💕

Many of these clients had received what’s called a wet set — a beautiful and full look that can be stunning when done appropriately. But here’s the thing: this style is not suitable for everyone as they are very heavy.

Overloading natural lashes with weight can:
🚫 Cause breakage
🚫 Lead to thinning
🚫 Potentially damage the follicle — which means the hair may stop growing altogether 😢

As your lash tech, my goal is always to enhance your lashes safely while maintaining the health of your natural lashes. That’s why I take the time to customize each set based on your lash strength, density, and long-term goals. For this reason, my work may not be as dramatic or dense as your last tech was able to achieve.

🫶 This isn’t to bash any other artist or service. My hope is just to keep you informed so you can make the best choices for your lash health. When deciding on a lash style, there is a trade off between your ideal look and what is realistic for your natural lashes. For example, if you're getting lashes for a specific event (and don't intend to maintain them) you could *maybe* get away with a dramatic set, even with fine lashes. But long term, the damage will accumulate.
