I am a professional Makeup Artist in Vancouver with  a Diploma in fashion & film makeup design and a Diploma in SFX advance Prosthetics. All my life I have been into makeup, personal care and the external look and what I thought it meant to be beautiful for the wrong reasons thinking I was never enough. Today I achieved my dream of becoming a professional in what I had a passion for. I discovered an amazing world that not just helped me to improve my appearance but also helped me in my personal grow and self love.
As a mother of a pre teenager I began to remember what my adolescence was like and the things that influenced me at that time, making me more aware of how to guide my daughter in this world that, although it seems superficial, begins with loving and caring for one's self.
Finally I am happy, I now understand what it means to be beautiful and I'm even more excited to be able to share it.

I have loved makeup from the day I knew it existed, and today I can proudly say I’ve achieved my dream. As a child I thought that putting on makeup would make me prettier but I was wrong... WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE, that's where the magic begins, when we love ourselves. Today I have an 11-year-old daughter, and the day she came to tell me that someone had called her UGLY, it made me remember when I was bullied as a child and called Sofea (Sofia + fea which means ugly in Spanish).
Right then and there I decided she was not going to go through the same things I went through.

Together, while creating an amazing bond between us, we developed routines that helped improve her skincare and thus prevent the natural effects of adolescence, empowering her and building her self-esteem. But do you know what is the most beautiful part? That this episode of my early life and the one my daughter was going through motivated me to become a Makeup Artist concerned about self care, skin care and highlighting your most beautiful and unique features through makeup, teaching my clients that everything begins with self-care and loving yourself as you are.

Today I start a new journey wanting to empower more women and adolescents to love themselves and teach them to highlight what makes them unique.

Few years ago my classmate then, my friend now convinced me to take some pictures. I was having a hard time with myself and she thought it would be good... And it was!!! I gave it a shot of self confidence and helped me so much. With everything that was happening and everything I was going through I never thought I could do something like this.
