‘Changes to My Mobile Services’
Unfortunately, several factors, including the recent fuel price hike and our recent move to Keswick, have forced me to reduce my mobile service offerings. A more detailed email explanation is to follow next month.

- From now until April 29th, I’ll continue to offer mobile barbering services on Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Starting in May, mobile barbering services will be limited to just once a week, only on Mondays, and only within boundaries.

- Effective immediately, I’ll no longer be able to accept out-of-area appointments, even for a fee. Any out of boundary area appointments will accordingly be cancelled upon creation. This decision was made after long and careful consideration, as since implementing the ‘out of area fee’ it unfortunately hasn’t had the desired impact.

- My service boundary area will now be limited to the following areas: Newmarket, Georgina, Keswick, East Gwillimbury, Holland Landing, Mount Albert to the east, Schomberg to the west, and Aurora to the south.

My sincere apologies to all clients who are affected by these changes. It’s been my honour to be welcomed into your homes and offices over the years!

💈Happy Holidays from Anthonys Classic Mobile Barbershop; I hope you were able or are booked to see me to get your Christmas haircuts and shaves!
I still have a few scattered appointments available for the barbershop this week and more availability headed into the New Year! (Link to website bottom of post.)

It’s been quite the year and am looking forward to seeing what 2026 holds in store for us!
Speaking of which as we head into the new year, I do have a few friendly requests and some important information to share.

🥶It’s the thick of winter, and we’ve had extra snow so far. Now, with municipalities claiming salt is too expensive and dropping their plows less… due to safety concerns, some appointments may have to be canceled at the last minute if you’re not located in the immediate Newmarket area. I will do my best but if it isn’t a wise choice to head out I will unfortunately have to reschedule.
Also, since I’ve begun maintaining a regular schedule back at the barbershop, I’m asking anyone who’s physically able to please consider coming in the barbershop for their services. I am now in the shop on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and can accommodate both appointments and walk ins. 🚙My mobile appointments are very limited and filling up quickly for those who truly need them, which is why I am requesting this option to be considered when able.

On a less cheerful note, I have some news that everyone hates, including me. It’s been over two years, and unfortunately due to the rising costs of everything, yes you may think you know whats coming…

In the New Year, INSTEAD of raising prices across the board which would be unfair and unaffordable to many I will instead begin enforcing ALL “out of area” fees for my mobile-based services.
So kindly note there will be an additional charge for mobile services that are outside the boundaries of my regular service area, (its been in the small print but I have not been requesting as I should and has become a bit of a loss due to the extra travel time, wear and tear, and fuel costs.)

For anyone in the areas outside of the borders of Schomberg to the West, Bradford/East Gwillimbury to the north, Mount Albert to the east and Aurora to the south there will be a $10 fee you will need to add at the time of booking to the service price, this option is being added to the service menu. This new outside of area charge begins on all appointments booked for January 2nd and beyond.

While I wish I could keep things more affordable for everyone these small adjustments are very important for me in order to keep forging ahead as a one man show small business and continue to provide the best possible service.
