There’s so much pressure around weddings to look “perfect.”
In reality, the most beautiful bridal hair and makeup starts with healthy skin, healthy hair, and realistic preparation.

In this New Blog Post: www.whatsbeanhappening.com/post/bridal-hair-and-makeup-prep-what-to-do-before-your-wedding-day

I’m sharing the bridal beauty timeline I genuinely recommend after years of working with brides and in film and television makeup. From skincare and facials to hair prep, spray tan trials, and the mistakes I would personally avoid, this is the practical advice I wish more brides were given.
Your hair and makeup artist can create beautiful work, but they’re still working with the canvas they’re given. A few thoughtful steps in the months leading up to your wedding can make a tremendous difference in how your makeup wears, how your hair photographs, and how confident you feel throughout the day.

If you’re currently planning your wedding, I hope this helps you approach beauty prep in a calmer, healthier, and more realistic way.

If your hair feels flat, oily at the roots, or lacks volume, your routine may be weighing it down. In my latest blog post, I’m sharing the haircare routine that has helped me support scalp health, strengthen my strands, and create natural volume from the roots.

Featured favorites include Color Wow Color Security Shampoo and the K18 Hair Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask. These two products have made a noticeable difference in my routine.

New Blog Post! If you’ve ever aggressively exfoliated your arms like you were sanding a hardwood floor trying to get rid of keratosis pilaris… this post is for you. 🤍

Honoured to have lead the George Brown College SPFX makeup team in creating realistic casualty simulations for Bruce Power's emergency exercise this week.

The three-day-long emergency training exercise involved hundreds of people from across the country, as Canada’s largest nuclear facility works with officials from Emergency Management Ontario and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, along with local municipalities, to train for worse case scenarios.
