As some of you may have already heard, we sadly decided it was time to close our location at the Voyager, but no worries, we are still available for all of your hair and esthetic needs!

When the time has come to close one door, a new door often opens… to new possibilities, new friendships and new memories. it’s time to let all of our wonderful supportive clients know where we are heading! We will be joining the lovely Meaghan Bonnie Gaudreault in her new salon called Mystic Shear! We are located in the former Hairport location across from chopsticks! We are excited to start this new journey with you Meaghan! ❤️ The anticipated open date is February 5th! We can’t wait to welcome all of our clients into our new home away from home!

P.S. I also started driving for URIDE in December, and I’m absolutely loving it!

WOOHOOO! Unless something changes in the next few days, it looks like we have the go ahead to open next Wednesday, June 30th!!! That being said, please be patient with us for rebooking. We have a lot of people that want appointments, and we will be open for 1 day and then closed for Canada Day! My (Derica’s) oldest son turns 18 today and graduates high school tomorrow so I might not get back to you right away, if you are trying to book with me, but I will ASAP!

It’s been a long 7 months (minus 3 weeks) and we hope we will be able to be open for some time, this time around. We can’t wait to see you all!

We will continue client screening, upon reopening, and we can’t provide any services under a mask at this time.

If you already had appointments booked prior to the second part of this long lockdown, or have contacted us during lockdown, we will do our best to reach out to all of you. It is possible that we miss you, as I know I have plenty of scrap pieces of paper with names on it LOL. If you do not hear from us by Tuesday, or want to reach out anyways, feel free to do so. The shop phone is forwarded to my cell, leave a message, send us a message or text, and we will get back to you ASAP. ☺️☺️☺️❤️❤️FINALLY!

Please keep in mind that if you are booking on Facebook or on our website, that you MUST WAIT FOR A CONFIRMATION from either myself or Josée to confirm your appointment.

Just a reminder to all of our clients that we miss dearly... hairstylists are NOT part of stage 1 and do NOT open today. We are a part of stage 2, and it is forecasted that we can reopen at the beginning of July. Once we get the go ahead we will let you all know, as we all know things can change quickly. When booking on the website, please note that the confirmation you receive is not a confirmation from us. The app automatically sends them out confirming the receipt of the appointment. There is also a message on the booking page that states that you should wait for us to confirm the appointment before arriving at the salon.

Good afternoon everyone! It’s been a wonderful week getting back to work and seeing some wonderful familiar faces. 🥰

That being said, it’s been hectic! The phone has been ringing off the hook, and the shop phone is forwarded to my (Derica’s) cell, because due to covid we are not taking walk-ins. You are calling the right number, however if we don’t answer it’s because we are swamped! PLEASE LEAVE US A MESSAGE and we will get back to you so we can get you in for an appointment ASAP.

The great news today is that we can finally reopen! 🥰

That being said, we are still in red, therefore we will have stricter protocols to follow!

Good morning! With the government update made yesterday, I just wanted to touch base with everyone. Unfortunately we are still not able to open. 😔

We are hopeful we can open soon, however, we will not be booking appointments until we know for sure. Our health unit district has been in the green throughout, however with the cluster of this new variant, it’s unclear as to what’s to come once we can go back to the colour coded system.

Once we know we have the go ahead to open, we will be in touch with those who’ve been trying to book, and will contact those who already had appointments. We know that many are patiently waiting, so if you would like an appointment, please wait until we post our opening to book.

Thank you all for your patience. We miss you all and look forward to seeing you soon.
