Hi everyone,
It's been a wild first 2 weeks on the job. Catch the interview with the new ownership on CTV tonight at 6pm. It's a follow up of the one day did a year ago when Get Nailed was swamped with groupons.

I personally won't be able to see it. I will be in the shop picking up the phones, answering emails and booking your appointments instead.
I just got access to this page 10 minutes ago and I would like to share a few things:

1) Booking has been an issue prior to June 2nd. I personally find it's outrageous to have to wait 2 months or more to be able to get your nails done. I hope customers who call in and email to book from that point on start to see significant improvement.

2) I am hiring more staff. I will make sure they will eventually all be on the same level of skills. I believe in quality and quality is what I hope to offer with our services.

3) Regarding the vouchers, after a lot of back and forth between all parties, we are now honoring Team Buy vouchers at full value.
We just cancelled the deal with Living Social and they are supposed to email all their customers regarding the news but they never did. Please understand that collecting nothing but the taxes for thousands of vouchers in hope for new customers will not allow us to even last as a young company. We kind of need a business just as much as we need customers. Customers with living social vouchers please call the company to get your refund. Do keep a copy of your vouchers however and I will let you have the same deal but you will be paying directly to us. That way you will still get what you originally wanted and any bit of income is a great help to us.

And good god, after this wave of left over coupons, I'm hoping it will be a clean slate for the business. Any deals will come directly from us. I'm getting someone to fix the website and I will be offering promotions straight on our site starting mid July.

4) We will be introducing shellac, online booking, more color selections and exciting new services. Stay tuned.
