One of the most common questions I get is: what’s the difference between an aesthetician and a medical aesthetician?
The short answer: both focus on skin health, but medical aestheticians receive additional training in advanced technologies such as laser and other corrective treatments.
Neither is better than the other. It simply depends on your skin goals.

One thing medical aesthetics school has taught me so far is that healthy skin is usually less about finding the “perfect” product and more about building consistent habits.
The biggest contributors to premature aging are often the things we do every day without thinking about them.
I’m still learning but understanding the science behind skin has completely changed the way I approach skincare.
And before anyone asks, yes... I absolutely spent years treating SPF like a suggestion 🤦♀️
