For my clients mini refresh highlight and cut we didn't touch any of the hair below her crown. I did six foils per side working horizontally towards the part line for maximum impact , 3 foils at the crown and a fine face frame. Toned everything with Redkin Shades EQ and gave her the perfect chic bob haircut.❤️

My client was bored with too subtle highlights from previous stylists. she wanted something noticeable and blonde.
Since she's a teenager I wanted to give her something high impact but not high maintenance and gives that cool girl vibe🤟 ..

It took 3&1/2 hours from pre-cut to finished color to create this lived in beachy blonde result

I pre-cut the shape dry to help me with my color placement. It's really important to work with the hair cut when doing color so for big changes pre-cutting your shape and layers is key . I kept her cut simple and relaxed.

Next I did a full head of both teasylights, fine weaves and tipped out 90% of what was left out between foils. This gave a super soft blended root with maximum blonde on the ends. Toned with some beige and clear gloss for shine and refinement.
Next perfected the cut and did some beachy waves for movement and relaxed feel.
I love this look ,it reminds me of easy days at the beach , sand and salt water..😎🤙

There's just something about balayage that can't be achieved any other way. It's soft , seemless and dimensional all at the same time. It's creative and catered to each individual. Knowing where to add brightness , where to leave depth . It's an artform all its own. Sadly I forgot to take a full after shot but it was beautiful !
