Last but not least, I thought I’d wrap up our Artist Spotlight series by sharing a little bit about myself.

Hi, I’m Tannis! I started my lash journey in 2017 and opened The Look Lash Studio in 2019. What started with my own love for lashes has grown into an amazing team of talented artists, and I’m so proud of what we’ve created together.

Here’s a little more about me:

✨ How long have you been in the beauty industry?
I’ve been doing lashes since 2017!

✨ What is your favourite service to perform and why?
Wispy Wet and Hybrid sets! I love that natural yet glam look. Soft and pretty, but still makes a difference.

✨ What is your favourite lash style?
Definitely wispy, textured lashes! I love customizing each set to the client’s eyes. My go to shape is an open eye style.

✨ What do you love most about working in the beauty industry?
The transformations and helping women feel beautiful. Seeing someone look in the mirror after their appointment and immediately light up never gets old.

✨ What’s your go to drink?
A vanilla latte or matcha latte!☕

✨ What’s a fun fact about you?
I grew up dancing competitively and spent several years dancing for the Vancouver Warriors Lacrosse Team, which was such a fun chapter of my life! 💃 I had to step away last year after a neck injury, but I’ll always have such a love for dance.

✨ If you weren’t in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?
I’d probably start another business! I love being creative and making things with my hands, so maybe something dog or food related, like baking. Or in my dream world, I’d be living on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats and all the animals.😂🐶

With 5 years in the beauty industry, Sadie loves creating soft, natural lash sets that still make difference. Her favourite is 2D Light Volume, and lately she’s also been loving creating Hybrid Brows! Beyond the beauty side of things, Sadie has a pretty interesting career story—she’s been a software engineer, a cook, and now a lash artist.🤍

✨ How long have you been in the beauty industry?
5 years.

✨ What is your favourite service to perform and why?
2D Light Volume because it’s very soft and natural, but at the same time makes a big difference to the appearance.

✨ What is your favourite lash or brow style?
My favourite thing to do these days is Hybrid Brows.

✨ What do you love most about working in the beauty industry?
The thing I love most about being in the beauty industry is meeting new people every day from all different occupations.

✨ What is your go-to drink order?
An oat latte. ☕

✨ What is a fun fact about you that clients might not know?
I used to be a software engineer, then a cook, and then became a lash artist!

✨ If you weren’t working in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?
I’ve tried three of the things I’ve liked so far, but if I wasn’t a lash artist now, I’d probably be doing something artsy—which I might still do in the future! 🎨

Celine brings tons of experience and a love for creating beautiful, customized lash sets. She especially loves natural, wispy styles with just the right touch of glamour - from Classics and Hybrids to Wet Look lashes. Most of all, she loves helping her clients leave their appointments feeling beautiful and confident.

✨ How long have you been in the beauty industry?

I’ve been working in the beauty industry for 10 years.

✨ What is your favourite service to perform, and why?

Hybrid lashes are my favourite service because they combine classic and volume techniques. They create the perfect balanced look—not too dramatic, but not too subtle.

✨ What is your favourite lash style?

My favourite styles are wet-look and wispy lashes. I love creating sets that look natural while still adding a touch of glamour.

✨ What do you love most about working in the beauty industry?

I’ve always loved everything about beauty. Helping my clients—especially women—feel beautiful and confident brings me so much joy.

✨ What is your go-to drink order?

I love smoothies and fresh juices, but bubble tea is definitely on my list too!

✨ What is your favourite local restaurant or treat?

I’m a big food lover! Two of my favourite local restaurants are Zab Bite for Thai food and Nở Nè Kitchen for Vietnamese food.

✨ What is a fun fact about you that clients might not know?

Even though I’m a lash artist, I get anxious when I have to keep both eyes closed while getting my own lashes done! My coworkers usually have to do one eye at a time.😂

✨ If you weren’t working in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?

I would probably own a restaurant or work as a chef because I love cooking—and, of course, eating delicious food!

Lee is a licensed Esthetician who has been in the beauty industry for 6 years. She has trained in nails, skincare, and lashes before discovering that lashes were where her passion truly belonged. Shes known as our Korean Lash Lift Specialist, creating beautifully lifted lashes that are healthy, effortless, and customized to each client’s unique eye shape.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for 6 years!

✨ What is your favourite service to perform and why?

Definitely Korean Lash Lifts! I love enhancing my clients’ natural lashes and creating a soft, effortless look that’s easy to maintain.

✨ What is your favourite lash or brow style?

I love clients who trust the process and appreciate natural, customized results. My favourite style is clean, lifted lashes that suit
each person’s eye shape.

✨ What do you love most about working in the beauty industry?

Seeing my clients leave feeling happier and more confident is the most rewarding part.

✨ Go-to drink order?

An iced matcha latte or a Vietnamese iced coffee, depending on my mood!

✨ Favourite local restaurant and/or treat?

Right now, my go to spots are Pho 37 whenever I’m craving Vietnamese food, and Molly Tea for a matcha or milk tea.

✨ Fun fact about yourself that clients might not know?

I love cooking and making drinks. If I wasn’t in the beauty industry, you’d probably find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes or creating fun coffee and matcha drinks.

✨ If you weren’t in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?

I’d probably be opening my own café or dessert shop. I’ve always loved food, coffee, and creating experiences that bring people together.

With 4 years in the beauty industry, Jaszy is passionate about creating low maintenance beauty that helps clients feel confident every day. As our Brow Specialist, she brings a background in microblading and includes custom brow mapping with every brow appointment to create a shape that’s tailored to your unique features.

4 years and counting!

✨ What is your favourite service to perform and why?

Lash lifts, hands down! I’m all about low maintenance beauty. I love that it’s such a quick, low maintenance way to totally transform someone’s look.

✨ What is your favourite lash or brow style?

I’ve been loving our new Hybrid Korean Lash Lift method. I love how it enhances your natural lashes while still looking soft and effortless.

✨ What do you love most about working in the beauty industry?

The connections! I get to chat with amazing people and genuinely make their day a little brighter or give them time to relax and have a little me time. Plus, there’s nothing like the confidence boost clients get after their appointment.

A flat white, always! But if I want to treat myself, I’d get a matcha. ☕🍵
