“What does your child think a massage therapist does?” 😊
Sometimes, asking a child to lie still for a full massage treatment can be challenging—but with a little creativity, gentle care, and fun, the experience can become something they truly enjoy.
This summer, she has been busy practising volleyball and began experiencing tightness and discomfort in her calf muscles and ankle. During her treatment, we gently released tension through the leg and carefully stretched the surrounding muscles to support her comfort and mobility.
By the end of the session, she felt more relaxed and comfortable—and she even asked us to make this video to send to her parents! 💚
At Young River Wellness, every treatment is personalized, gentle, and designed to help each client feel safe, supported, and cared for.

Young River Wellness — where healing flows naturally.
07/17/2026
Young River has a beautiful, meaningful feeling:
Young represents renewal, fresh energy, vitality, hope, and a new beginning.
River represents healing, movement, balance, and the natural flow of life.
Together, Young River means:
A place where healing energy continues to flow, helping people feel renewed, restored, and alive again.
It also suggests that wellness is not something still or forced. Like a river, the body and mind need to move freely. When stress, tension, or pain blocks that flow, your treatments help clients return to balance.
