📅 Important: Changes Coming July 1, 2026

The Ontario government has announced changes to Accident Benefits that take effect July 1, 2026. These updates may affect the types of coverage included as standard and what must be added as optional coverage.

What to do after an accident:
1️⃣ Check for injuries → call 911 if anyone is hurt
2️⃣ If damage looks over $5,000, reporting is required
3️⃣ Exchange info (license, insurance, plates, contact details)
4️⃣ Take photos → vehicle damage, full scene, road & weather conditions
5️⃣ Save dashcam photos/videos immediately
6️⃣ Report to a Collision Reporting Centre (if required)
7️⃣ Contact your insurance company ASAP for repairs and a rental
