4 years of black box dye… and we finally started the transformation ✨
She had developed a dark band at the top of her hair from years of overlapping colour at home. Before coming to us, another salon attempted to remove it using a colour remover and a demi colour, but the darkness was still heavily built up.
Two months later, she came to ARTE Beauty Studio ready for a fresh start 💫
We carefully lightened through the box dye buildup with bleach, and honestly… considering the history on the hair, the lift was incredible. The darkest areas only lifted to a deep burnt orange, which is completely normal with years of black dye buildup.
Instead of fighting the hair, we worked with it and toned everything using Keune Semi Colour 4, creating this rich glossy brunette that looks healthy, shiny, and dimensional again ✨
Hair transformations like this take patience, strategy, and trust, and I’m so excited for where we can take her hair next 🥹
