I’m excited to share that Cori hasbeen awarded the Platinum Award for Best Hairstylist and Best Colour Technician in Oakville for 2024! This achievement is not only a reflection of her passion for hair, but also the countless hours spent perfecting the craft through ongoing education and training. Every year I post a pic of my Halloween makeup. So here it is …… Lydia from Beetlejuice. Those lower lashes were ridiculously difficult to apply with long nails and glue stuck to the tweezers but viola , the piece de resistance.

P.S - we do hair here…not just reels. This is holding on to her 30 year title of “Best Hair” 😉.

I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge our junior stylist, Jannel. Since joining Anemone in June, Jannel has brought fresh energy and creativity to our team. Jannel studied cosmetology for four years in high school and developed her passion for hairstyling while pursuing business at Mohawk College. Although the pandemic posed challenges for hands-on learning, she persevered and completed her training at Chellsey Institute of Beauty and Health in Burlington, graduating August of 2024. We’re excited to see her grow and contribute to our salon!

Jannel executed a root smudge with a diamond-shaped drop at the crown, using 4,22 and 6,22 to establish a rich, deep base with lowlights. The full color application of 6,66 and 6,62 delivers a vibrant red finish, while incorporating 8,43 adds dimension with copper highlights.

This technique enhances brightness and creates a multi-dimensional appearance, resulting in a stunning overall look.
