A beautiful young woman ready to start her next chapter. She’s heading off to university, where she’ll be meeting new people and having so many new experiences, and she wanted a fresh, brighter look to step into it feeling confident. We had the best conversation while creating this soft, dimensional blonde, and I’m so excited for everything ahead of her. 🤍✨

Sometimes the best colour takes a little patience. ❤️

This was a three-step colour journey to create this rich, dimensional red — deep and velvety through the base with brighter ribbons and a burst of red through the ends.

Not quite brunette. Not quite red. Somewhere in that beautiful wine-toned, cherry-cola world. 🍒

Copper doesn’t have to be one-dimensional. 🍂 Rich lows, brighter face-framing pieces, and soft ribbons of light create a colour that shifts beautifully with every movement.

Today I handed over the keys to the space where I spent the last 10 years building my business.

Through COVID, mentoring stylists, personal growth, countless challenges, and thousands of clients who trusted me with their hair, this is where I found my footing as a business owner and built a career I’m incredibly proud of.

It’s bittersweet to close this chapter, but I’m ready for the next one. I’m excited to bring everything these past 10 years have taught me into my new space and see where this next chapter leads.

Over the years, Anemone has grown and evolved right alongside me.

As I stepped into a new studio space, it felt like the right time to refresh the logo as well. I wanted something that reflected where the brand is today—cleaner, more intentional, and rooted in the things that matter most to me: beauty, craftsmanship, simplicity, and connection.

The anemone remains at the heart of it all.

For me, the flower has always represented resilience, grace, and the courage to bloom through every season of change. That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is the way I see my work, my space, and the experience I want to create for every person who walks through the door.

Birthday hair for one of my beautiful clients today ✨

When you’ve been highlighting someone’s hair for years, the ends naturally evolve into that soft, bright lived-in blonde over time, which means you don’t always need a full makeover to create impact.

Today we refreshed her roots, added a soft money piece, sprinkled in delicate baby lights through the top for brightness, and added lowlights for dimension and depth without pulling everything through the ends.
