I had a woman who wanted to bring in her eight year-old daughter for Electrolysis. She had a pretty dark and heavy mustache and was getting bullied at school. I had to tell her she was too young but advised her not to pluck, wax or thread because these things would cause the hair to grow in courser. Bleaching was also not an option. The thickness of the hair on the upper lip and the dark skin tone would make the hair look very obvious. Unfortunately the only other options were to shave or cut the hair and once she’s in her teens, we could deal with it permanently with Electrolysis My heart went out  to that little girl! And her mom!! Hair that has not been waxed, plucked or threaded responds much quicker.
