It all started with a haircut. ✂️❤️

A little girl got a haircut that made her think maybe she’d like to become a hairdresser someday.

And somehow, all these years later, she’s still behind the chair.

There have been different hairstyles (thank goodness 😂), different salons, different teams, competitions, awards, thousands of clients, and more stories than we could ever fit into one Reel.

But through so much of it, there has been Wendy — doing hair in Okotoks.

And somewhere along the way, I picked up the scissors too. ❤️

Looking through all of these old photographs and newspaper clippings with my mom has been pretty special. Some of these pieces of paper have been tucked away for decades, documenting a career and a little piece of Okotoks history that we didn’t fully appreciate while we were living it.

Today, Mom is still doing what she loves. Still behind the chair. Still making people laugh. Still doing perms. 😂 And still very much the heart of Image Hair Design.
