Working around hair extensions isn’t for every hairstylist.

Did you know I built my clientele solely around hair extensions? When I first started hair, I was specifically focusing all my energy into learning everything about hair extensions.

When I went to Delmar for the hairstyling program, I had NO idea how much it would rocket launch me as a double whammy for all things colour + extensions.

It’s been 12+ years of hair extensions & colour theory. I’ve learned by making mistakes, having some less than desirable outcomes, ended up paying out of pocket to replace hair, and at times; redo colour.

All this has led me to be incredibly comfortable working around all types of hair extensions, colouring extensions, and seamlessly blending hair extensions.

If you’re looking for someone who has been in the industry long term, and has dedicated herself to making your hair dreams come to life, I would LOVE to see you in my chair.

So we made it easy for her to have long locks without the hassle of clipping in her extensions every day.

2 sessions a year.

That’s all we do to keep up her healthy blonde locks.

Her new growth is usually 4” long & lifts beautifully.

Proper at home maintenance + trims every time keep her hair long and not dried out. Love a healthy blonde!

Root touch & we added new hair for 1 row

I fumbled. Because I didn’t stick to my own rules.

We had originally added more red into her colour, and she was over the moon.

At the end of our appointment, we then realized it didn’t come out AS RED as we wanted it to. (Super sad face)

So we have made a gameplan for our next appt to go back to square one, which means WRITING DOWN HER FORMULA and perfecting her colour all over again.

I’m not perfect and this stuff happens behind the chair. What separates me from the others, is I will own up to mistakes, and will fix them in a timely manor, because, you know, we aren’t magical unicorns. We are human too, and sometimes this stuff happens.

Again- gorgy natural copper, but just not as rusty as she loves!

(Reminder: I don’t mind redoing hair right away if a guest wants, but in this case, she was okay with it! 🩵)
