Lee and Ray were preparing Lee for Competitions in Paris in 2019. Working on ideas with the mannequin. This was one of our creations. Just had to take a photo of it. Not every practice session produced a style that would work for the time constraints but we sure loved working on ideas. Ray and Lee ALWAYS work together on design, training and brain storming for each and every competition style. We LOVE working together♥️

It was an OMGOSH Chop Off My Hair moment. It was so much fun adding some rich colours to her hair. Utilized the highlighted hair that went through summer and autumn. Then we got her hair under control with her hair shaping. It is amazing how curl activator product can make naturally curly hair look so great.

It had been six months since she had been in. We refreshed highlights/lowlights. No noticeable regrowth is in her future. Shaped her hair with angles to make her fine hair feel and look thicker. The trauma of temporary excess hair loss is real. New growth was about 4” long. She was so happy and relieved that her hair looked so healthy and felt so much better with the 3 Shades of colours that we added and the cut with the proper angles again.

Throwback Thursday!
Back in 1989 RAY and LEE CENAIKO had a Hair Salon in Nelson, NZ called ZZAZ. Ray was teaching Lee Hair Styling and here are the photos of LEE CENAIKO competing for the FIRST time ever! This category was called Petite Gala. That day RAY and LEE had 8 models to work on. Ray was in 6 categories and Lee in 2.They were competing against each other. Good news - RAY won one category and LEE won the other. We worked together on everything getting everyone ready for the competitions. What a Fantastic Day! LEE was hooked into Competitive Hair Styling from then on...
