As I sit here reflecting on the last few years, I am so grateful for all the opportunities I have been given, the new clients I’ve met, the new friends I’ve created and the growth I’ve had being a business owner. This truly was not an easy decision to make, but it was the one that made the most sense with the trajectory I wanted for my career. I will miss every one of you and hope we all stay in touch. Knowing how to prepare for your lash appointment is essential to optimizing your retention. Read more below 👇🏽

➡️ Coming with clean lashes will allow your technician to start with a clean canvas. It ensures that lash extensions are being applied to clean lashes. This will also avoid infections, such as blepharitis.
➡️ Having caffeine can cause your eye lids to twitch. When technicians isolate, it is a very tedious task and when a client’s lid is twitching, this makes it much more difficult. This results in a longer application time, possibly leading to an unfinished or rushed set.
➡️ We’ve all been there where we’re halfway through a set and you can’t seem to hold in your p*e! You start to get restless and may start becoming antsy. This then leads to the client being unable to lay still, making it difficult for lash application.
➡️ Talking during the application process can sometimes cause your eyes to move. As previously stated, when lashes move, it makes it much harder for technicians to isolate your lashes.
➡️ Bringing something that will help you relax, such as earphones to listen to music will make the appointment easier to get through. Lash extension appointments range from 2-3 hours. If you have a hard time laying for 2-3 hours, doing something relaxing will guarantee a much better experience.
