Good morning makeup lovers!

I wanted to share some helpful information for using my services.

We all know the morning of the wedding can be a tad stressful, so here are some tips from my end to help the makeup part go smoothly. 😊

Prep:
To have your makeup looking flawless, you can help by having clean, exfoliated skin. Don't forget to moisturize and put on any eye cream you might use. Being hydrated (especially under the eyes and around the nose) is so important for great looking makeup. If the skin is well hydrated, you will notice less creasing and dry, flaky skin (which may give you that cakey look)

Timeline:
Depending on the # of ladies getting their makeup done, we will figure out a start time. Makeup per person, usually takes anywhere from 30-40 mins, with the bride possibly taking up to an hour.
I always come 15-20 mins earlier then start time to set up.
So here is an example of a timeline.
7:15am set up
7:30am makeup 1
8:10am makeup 2
8:50am makeup 3
9:30am makeup 4
10:10am makeup 5
10:50am Bride
11:50 - 12:15 touch up any lippys and check lashes, take photos, take payment
12:15 - 12:25pm clean up my station

Space:
My kit is fairly large, so I will need some space with a table.
The space with natural light works best and the use of an outlet is needed for my airbrush and ring light.

Hopefully, knowing all this in advance, will help make your day run smoothly. 😊

Being apart of someone's special day, is the biggest honor. I absolutely love my profession!

As a small business owner for makeup, communication is vital.
When you book me for makeup, I have to book out not only a timeslot to do the application but if I am coming to you, I also have to take into consideration the travel time and gas prices as well as finding respite for my son.
So please, please be aware of this when booking someone for hair or makeup.
If you choose to go in a different direction makeup-wise and no longer need the original person booked, please communicate that with us.
Trust me, we will not take it personal!
We will however, loose money by not taking other jobs because we have booked you.

Being in the personal care industry, we were hit hard with covid. So, please have some consideration when booking with a small business.

Let's talk skincare and mature skin.
3 important things you should be doing everyday.
1. Sunscreen (everyday! Even in the winter)
To avoid hyperpigmentaion and other damage, it is so important to apply Sunscreen everyday. There are some great choices out there made for the face, and that don't feel heavy like the stuff we apply on our body.

2. Double cleanse (make sure you get all the makeup and Sunscreen off of your skin)
Double cleansing is so important! If you have dull looking skin, it probably means you haven't exfoliated the dead skin, makeup and Sunscreen off properly. Double cleansing is only needed at the end of your day.

3. Don't forget to moisturize your neck and chest ladies!
Us ladies tend to see wrinkles and damage on our chest. So, don't forget to clean, moisturize and apply your Sunscreen right down to your chest.
