5 years ago, I opened the doors to my studio with nothing but my clippers, a vision, and the hope that people would show up.

What started as a small, day-by-day operation has grown into a space full of fresh cuts, awesome people, and—since 2022—a beagle named Otie who’s somehow become the star of the show. 🐶💈

Otie may think he runs the place—and honestly, my clients probably agree—but truthfully, I’m just grateful to be here. Grateful to have built a space where people feel welcome, to still be doing what I love, and to have made it five whole years through all the ups, downs, and dog hair on the floor. 😝

To my clients, friends, family, and everyone who’s supported this little studio along the way—thank you. Whether you’ve been in my chair from day one or just found your way here recently, your trust, encouragement, and word-of-mouth love have meant more than I can put into words. This place wouldn’t exist without you, and I don’t take that for granted for a second. 🥰🩷

And of course, to everyone who’s sat in the chair, supported the journey, suffered (just a bit) through my endless chatting 😅, shared their stories, cracked jokes, and vibed with the tunes—I see you, I appreciate you, and I genuinely couldn’t have done this without you. 💈🎶

Last Camping Trip of the 2025 Summer Season!!
We squeezed in one last trip to Algonquin Provinical Park together before the end of the season and it was so AMAZING!!!
Highlights included:
•Beautiful views as always📸
•TONS of wildlife sightings 🐾
•Trying the brand new Fork Lake Trail which was so steep we nearly died LOL 1 & done for sure 🥵😮‍💨
•Sunset hike at Lookout Trail

ULTIMATE HIGHLIGHT:
An orphaned baby flying squirrel decided to take refuse at our site and by our fire for the entire stay! We dubbed it Rocky after it became best friends with Otie and with the help of some AMAZING Ontario Parks staff and the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, we were able to get this sweet little creature the care it needs before it is rehabilitated and released into the wild to enjoy its little life to the fullest 💕💕💕😁

Overall, an amazing way to end the 2025 Camping season and I can’t WAIT for the 2026 season with my boys 💕🏕️

🍁Thanksgiving round 2 in Algonquin Provincial Park!

Fantastic views from 10 km of hiking in 2 days including the Beaver Pond Trail, the Spruce Bog Trail, the Lookout Trail, and finishing off with the Booth’s Rock Trail overlooking Rock lake where we started the 2024 camping season in May!

The fall colours up there are magical and make the COLD AF nights worth it! I will miss the sounds of the forest and the smell of the warm campfires until the 2025 season!

As he is the official shop dog, it seemed appropriate to post a wonderful pic of my sweet boy Otie sitting in everyone’s favourite chair! 😜

4 years behind the chair now as an independent barber and I have loved every single second of it! A HUGE thank you to all of my amazing and loyal clients! Without all of you I would never have made it this far! I absolutely love each and every one of you; the stories, laughs, gossip, and even some shared rough times make every day behind the chair a blessing! Every day I feel so lucky and fortunate that I get to “go to work” but really just get to hangout with all of you and make you guys look and feel fantastic! THAT’s the dream, to find clients who truly make you love what you do every single day. 🩵🩵🩵

My hopes for the next year is to have fun trying some new styles and growing my education and techniques ever further to continue to give y’all cutting edge advice and styles! I am so excited to see so many regular faces with the addition of a few new ones this past year!

I was so busy celebrating with Otie I only made a Facebook post and forgot about insta lol!
My sweet handsome birthday boy Otie! He can do Sit, Paw, High Five, Rollover, & Play Dead. His fav things include going to the park, camping, hiking, swimming and LOVES his nightly bunny hunt walks lol! The beagle bros are 2 years old today and I can’t believe time has gone so fast! Feels like yesterday when we brought them home! Looking forward to many more birthdays and silly awesome adventures together!
