Being a hairstylist has never felt like just doing hair to me. It’s creativity, connection, trust, transformation, laughter, vulnerability, confidence, and sometimes even healing. I get to spend my days helping people feel more like themselves again, whether that’s through a huge transformation, maintaining the hair that makes them feel beautiful, or simply giving them a space to relax and feel taken care of for a few hours. I’ve met some of the most incredible people through this career, and I truly don’t take that for granted. The conversations, the trust, the support, the friendships… it means more to me than I can properly put into words.
