🐕 It is no surprise, the staff at Fringe and Foliage are pet lovers, and this year, the team is gathering donations for the Sit With Me Dog Rescue.

💲We can add a dollar amount to your bill or we ask that you bring a donation with you to your appointment!
We are looking for : Food, especially puppy, Benebones/bam bones, Treats, P*e pads, Dental sticks, Kongs or kong toys, Martingale collars; small and medium, Bully sticks/ yak chews/ collagen chews and Beds

A little About Sit With Me 🐶
⭐️ They are an Ontario-and-Quebec-based dog rescue run soely by dedicated volunteers. Their mission is to help dogs in local shelters who have no other options. They do not discriminate based on breed, s*x, age or medical condition. Donations are fundamental to the rescue. As Ontario hourly wages increase, our prices will follow. Hair studios aren’t always a wage based salary. Most are driven by commission artist, and they only can receive the mandated wage increase if the price of services increase along side. Please keep in mind, to make sure everyone can have fair living salary, increases like this are important. Thank you for your understanding.

What: The initial phase of construction will involve lane reductions on eastbound Carling Avenue from Merivale Road to approximately 350 metres west of Merivale Road. Southbound Merivale Road will be reduced to one lane and northbound Merivale Road will be closed from Carling Avenue to approximately 100 metres south of Carling Avenue.
Why: The weekend work is required to minimize impacts to traffic and transit. The partial road closure and lane reductions are required to facilitate construction.
When: The lane reductions on Carling Avenue and Merivale Road, as well as the closure of northbound Merivale Road are planned to start at 9 am on Friday September 19 and remain in place through various phases of the 2025 construction. Weekend work will take place on Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21.
Information about road closures and/or nighttime and weekend work taking place in subsequent phases of construction will be provided through a separate notice to the public.
Where:
• Eastbound Carling Avenue from Merivale Road to approximately 350 metres west of Merivale Road.
• Merivale Road from Carling Avenue to approximately 100 metres south of Carling
Avenue.
Who: The City of Ottawa has retained the contractor, Taggart Construction Ltd., to complete the work.
