This fleeting moment is Dr Croft’s favourite: when the snowmelt subsides, leaving snow and ice gently suspended at the base of ancient trees, as if time paused just to admire itself. Tiny raccoon and rabbit footprints weave stories along the banks—proof that the forest is waking, stretching, and wandering once more.
