Dogwood in its simplest form — just the branch, the flowers, and the natural movement of the body.
I love working with blooming branches because they already have their own rhythm. They don’t need much added to them — just the right placement, enough space, and a little softness.
Sometimes the simplest compositions feel the most timeless.

New signature design — Pacific Dogwood & two Magpies.
A few months ago, I worked with dogwood for the first time in a custom piece, and I completely fell in love with it. Later, when I discovered that Pacific Dogwood is British Columbia’s provincial flower, I knew I wanted to return to it — this time through my own signature interpretation.
Because dogwood grows as a tree, it also gave me the perfect opportunity to bring birds into the composition and create something with more movement, depth, and story.
This is one of those designs that needs space. It’s more complex, takes more time, and requires the right placement to let every detail breathe — but that’s exactly what makes it special.
Two magpies among blooming dogwood branches — soft, wild, and made to flow naturally with the body.
Definitely one of my favourite recent designs.
What do you think? 🖤

✨ Birds Year Challenge — 10
Indigo Bunting — Inner Compass
There is something beautiful about a bird that finds its way by the stars.
Indigo Buntings migrate at night, using the night sky to navigate across enormous distances.
I kept thinking about that idea — moving through darkness without seeing the entire road ahead, but still knowing which direction to follow.
Maybe that’s what an inner compass is.
Not having all the answers.
Not knowing exactly where life will take you.
Just having this quiet sense of what feels true — and trusting it enough to move.
For this piece, I wanted the Indigo Bunting to sit on a sunflower.
Sunflowers have been part of my visual memory since childhood. They are deeply connected to Ukraine — to summer, fields, home, and a landscape that feels instantly familiar to me.
After spending these past weeks back home in Ukraine, I knew the sunflower had to be the first flower I drew when I returned.
So this combination became very personal to me.
A bird that follows the stars.
A flower that reminds me where I come from.
Maybe our inner compass isn’t only about where we are going.
Maybe part of it is remembering where we come from — and carrying that place with us wherever we go.
Follow your inner compass.
It might already know the way. ✨

Sometimes I wonder who this little girl would become if she could see herself today.
Back then, all I wanted was to draw, imagine, and become different characters. No one taught me how to analyze myself, search for purpose, or build a career. I simply followed whatever made me feel alive.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized that talent is only the beginning.
Real strength comes from learning to understand yourself. To notice what gives you energy and what quietly drains it. To take responsibility not only for your actions, but for your inner world.
Because everything begins there.
Your taste.
Your vision.
Your decisions.
Your discipline.
Your relationships.
Your ability to create.
Over the past few years, I’ve discovered something else.
When you finally start living in alignment with yourself, something shifts.
You naturally want to give back.
Not because you have to.
Not because you’re looking for recognition.
But because there’s so much life inside you that sharing it becomes the most natural thing in the world.
Yes, I create tattoos.
I love helping people preserve meaningful moments on their skin.
But lately I’ve been feeling that my purpose reaches beyond tattooing.
I want to help my city.
I want to protect the places that shaped me.
I want to bring people together around ideas that make the world a little more beautiful.
I want people to notice more, appreciate more, and truly live.
Maybe growing up isn’t about finding yourself.
Maybe it’s about slowly expanding the places where you can make a difference.
And right now…
That feels like the most exciting journey of all.

Time waits for no one
The clock keeps ticking
Summer passes
Birthdays happen
The perfect moment never comes

For me, realism isn’t about copying a photo.
It’s about translating light, texture, depth, and movement into skin while respecting the anatomy of the body.
Every feather, every shadow, every soft transition has a purpose.

What’s more challenging:
creating a realistic drawing…
or making it look alive on skin?
Realism isn’t about tracing a photograph.
It’s about understanding form, light, texture, and how all of that changes once it becomes part of a human body.
