Here is a smokey eyeshadow look! This is my very first time trying out a smokey eyeshadow look I hope everybody enjoys!

I watched some YouTube videos, I read my Versailles Academy books, and I got very well informed on which palette to use and every preparation steps.

1. Use primer so your skin is soft to the touch and will be easier to add foundation and concealer.
2. Moisturize your face to keep it well hydrated as it will also protect your skin from makeup.
3. For this smokey look, first use a burgundy eyeshadow colour and add on the crease section of your eye lid. Do not put on your lid above your lashes as it will mix your smokey look. It may not give the finish touched you will expect.
4.Add black eyeshadow on your lid and reach the crease area. Make sure to blend the burgundy and black together to make it look like a soft gradient look. A look to gradually fade one colour to another. Do not fully mix. Leave a little burgundy at the top of the crease.
4. Add some more burgundy eyeshadow where the gradient ends. Adding more burgundy will give a solid colour look.
5. Next, bring your black eyeshadow to the corner of the eye. Do a circle look. You may add some burgundy eyeshadow if you'd like to keep the gradient.
6. Once you've mixed and blended the colours, use a eyeliner pencil. Draw a line that follows your lash line. It will help to close off the eyeshadow and prevent fading and possible small removal. Then, bring your eyeliner pencil and follow your bottom lid. Bring it to your eye corner. Grab a brush and gently mix. Look up while doing so to prevent accidentally poking your pupil.
7. If you like a little glow to it, add some sparkly eyeshadow. I added a little sparkle in each eye corner. It gives off a less intimidating smokey eyeshadow look. If you like full smokey eyeshadow look, go for it!
8. Once you're done, wipe your cheeks and nose with a makeup remover wipe to make sure there aren't any other residue left.
9. While you are done wiping, fold it in half then bring a bottom corner up. Start from the bottom of your iris, slowly coming up in a 90 degree angle. It will make a beautiful straight line that immediately cuts off the eyeshadow.
10. Voilà! You are done! Finish off with some foundation, contour, blush, etc.

I hope this helps! My apologies for any mistakes. I am dyslexic :)

Hello, hello! I am still here. I got a moderate concussion April 15th this year and I got no care or treatment from any doctor. I was taking care of myself by myself and with my husband. I am starting to get back on my feet! I wasn't allowed to go on social media for a while and I had to practice my esthetics and makeup again as my memory faded.

Stay tuned for a smokey eye makeup! Thank you everyone for your patience and support!

Hello beauty and gents! Today is a gloomy day, but not for these beautiful nails. Here's a set requested from my close friend Kassidy! Spring-like nails using a light yellow nail polish and a daisy flower design made by me. Finishing up with fresh cuticle oil.

My apologies for the picture quality and placement. My phone broke and I had to use my father's phone 😅

Enjoy!

Let's talk skincare and skin conditions/disorders!!

This here is a face moisturizer. It is from a well known vegan company of cosmetics, Vagheggi. This here is Equilibrium! It is specifically made for oily and dry skin. In other words, combination skin. Like said, it's vegan and cruelty-free. Anyone can use it, really! It smells good too and it's very smooth to apply. I have combination skin which is why I specifically use it. I have a shiny T-Zone which means I have an oily forehead, nose and chin, and I have dry cheeks and a bit of a dry nose on the sides. I easily sweat, and it's not fun! This moisturizer helps decrease the oil production on my skin and balance out. It also helps in giving a sufficient amount of hydration.

Seeing an esthetician for a facial every 4 to 6 weeks is a good way to keep your skin from common conditions and disorders, to keep the skin's elasticity under control and keep your skin looking fresh and healthy. Everyone has a different type of skin however. It varies between individuals. It will depend on your diet, your consumption, your environment, your everyday life routine, genetics, and many more. It is important to speak with your esthetician during the skin analysis for product use and how to take care of your beautiful skin! Product recommendations will be made at the end of service.

Here's a list of conditions and disorders some individuals may commonly have and/or experienced:

Acne level 1 to 4
Rosacea (easily confused for eczema)
Blackheads (pores)
Whiteheads (closed comedones)
Milia (mistaken for tiny whiteheads that shouldn't be popped!)
Psoriasis
Cold sores
Shingles
Epidermolysis bullosa (disease: painful blisters that can be a problem if infected)

And skin types:
Sensitive skin
Oily skin
Dry skin
Combination skin
Neutral skin

From dark skin to light skin, anyone can experience these listed above! It can be treated with regular/steady specialist, dermatologist or esthetician visits. Do not be ashamed for having a skin condition or disorder. You are not alone. We all go through something that isn't fun to have or experience. You are still beautiful/handsome just the way you are!

I like to keep a solid skincare routine to avoid facing any obstacles in the future! By following a skincare routine, your face will stay fresh, strong and young!

Please do not hesitate to ask me anything below in the comment section! 😊 thanks for reading and I wish you an amazing day!

And here's your second post! I wanted to post two videos: one with filter and one without filter. Again, Facebook issues. It won't let me post more than one video. So frustrating...

Have a great evening ❤️

Hello beauties and gents! I hope you're all doing great in the beginning of 2024 🎉

Here's my makeup of the day ❤️ filters and no filters. As per usual, I used the MakeUpForever makeup brand!

I started with putting a bit of foundation on my eyelids (just to say there's some). Followed by adding some beautiful sparkly bronze eyeshadow with some beige in the middle near the iris.

// A little tip// always start with putting some foundation on your eyes following with eyeshadow! If you add everything before, you might drop some sparkle or eyeshadow paint on your cheek and you'll have to remove your foundation and start all over again. Save some time! And foundation helps bring out the colors of the palette and keeps the eyeshadow in place.

After I've mastered the eyeshadow, I added my foundation skin colour. I am a A2! Right after, I added brown contour slightly above my cheekbones and added a little sparkle highlight for the New Years. Gotta keep that tradition!

Going back to my eyes for the near final touch, I picked out some brown eyeshadow to colour my eyebrow tail and slowly follow up and fade after going in the middle corner. And last but not least, mascara and beautiful red lipstick for a beautiful final touch following with a white powder brush all over the makeup for a final setting ~ ❤️

I hope you enjoy my makeup as much as I enjoy it! Have a great 2024 everyone! Believe in yourself and push to your goals. Don't procrastinate, DO IT 🙏🏻

P.S. I will have to post videos seperately with pictures because Facebook won't allow it anymore. I don't know why!

To be continued to the second post!

Hello beauties and gents! I hope you're having a wonderful week.

Welcome to my Amanda's Beauty Posts page! My name is Kathleen-Amanda Beaulieu-Cossais. You may call me Kathleen or Amanda. Whichever works for you! In this page, I will be posting my beauty work. Here's a side story about myself:

I am a proud graduate from Versailles Academy of Make-Up Arts Esthetics Hair in Ontario, Canada. I have a degree in esthetics, makeup and gel nails. I am a professional esthetician and certified makeup artist. I do not have a business yet, but I am learning every day, and I am set and dedicated to opening my own little salon in my own home. I am currently seeking higher education in biology course. I will soon enroll myself into a medicine program and go back to Versailles Academy to seek more degree and expand my options. I am a happy 24-year-old woman who just stepped into the beauty community, thanks to some wonderful people. I struggled feeling beautiful before in the past. I know how it is. I believe in making people feel good about themselves and be/feel healthy in their own skin. Black, white, yellow. The skin color doesn't matter. Man, woman, gender-neutral. Gender doesn't matter either. But you know what matters? YOU. You are allowed to express yourself and feel comfortable in your own body. I am willing to work with you in your new YOU journey. Skin care? Face care? Eyebrows? Wax? Nails? Makeup? You name it! I am fully open to learn and expand my knowledge and skills for you. I want to hear what you struggle with in your self-care routine. I want to share my advice and thoughts. I want to recommend you products. I want to help. If you have a problem, we will solve it together. If you have any questions or concerns, never hesitate to contact a professional. We will talk about your concerns and beliefs, and see what we can do together. One step at a time; one day at a time.

Thank you for your support, beautiful people! xo
