Two months ago I chopped this fiddle leaf fig back to nothing (scroll to see) ↔️
Scary to do, but if your fig is leggy, bare, or just not thriving — don’t be afraid to prune it hard. It forces the plant to redirect its energy into new growth, and what comes back is usually fuller and greener than before.
Two months later, this is the comeback!
Thought the rain was finished. It wasn’t. Went out for a walk and some photos, and got caught in the middle of it starting back up.
