The Hair Cutting Place

After all our stylists hard work and effort for our first in salon event "Love Your Locks " we had a great turn out! The non alcoholic sangria, food and music provided a fun environment that everyone enjoyed. Check out some of the photos here!

Fun and compassionate, Ester is one of our senior stylist whose been in the hair business for 22 years. She brings a wonderful energy to the room and makes any morning a more lively one. After completing her program at the School Of Commerce she moved on into the hair business and has worked at multiple salons as a hair dresser and a manager at other salons. After a few years in the business she became a recognized part of the Ministry of Training.

Thursday Tips and Tricks:
For those who suffer from humid hair ball syndrome here's some quick tips to help maintain that mane!
1. Wash conditioner out with cold water
2. Dry hair gently, I know we all want our hair to dry faster but don't torture hair by rubbing the towel brutally together against hair. I know you all do it :P
3.Make sure hair is 100% dry before you leave, if you use a straightener on it make sure it is completely cooled off (you can use the cold setting on blow-dryers )
4. Product Product Product!! we recommend using a medium hold mousse or leave in conditioner or balm. Our top product for humidity is the new* Its a 10 Miracle Silk Smoothing Balm

Our stylists are building their portfolios and we want our clients to join in on the fun with food, beverages and hairdos! Become a part of our portfolio and let our stylists show off their talent. If you are interested stop on by for a hair cut, color, or style and we will have a professional photographer take shots of your gorgeous hair! For the final touch, Lancôme has offered to do makeup for clients who participate in photos. Melissa is a unique, fun and wild hairdresser. She has a wide variety of styles and has great understanding of what her clients want to see with their hair. In 2010-2011 she studied hair at Algonquin college and has been in the hair business for 4 years.
