What drives change in any domain of life is - meaning. If the change you're trying to make seems impossible perhaps it's because there is no real value in it for you right now.
You can change this by defining why making this change is important to you and why letting go of that which is holding you back is a must right now!
Focusing on HEALTH won't guarantee weight loss, but focusing on WEIGHT LOSS (the right way) will always improve your health!
The fitness experience should not revolve around compromise or sacrifice, it's a path of empowerment, enlightenment and growth. If it's anything but, you're doing it wrong.
TFC is getting ready to RE-LAUNCH AUGUST/SEPTEMBER in our own location (TBA). After a year of traveling with my family I feel more inspired than ever to connect with people and help them transform their lives. TFC will be better than before, can't wait!
As a coach I refuse to see you as anything other than limitless - all -powerful potential and I am not interested in your victim story which you've adopted as part of your self identity and use as rationalizations to sabotage your greatness! As far as I'm concerned you're not broken and there is nothing to fix, but there is your TRUTH to discover and that is what coaching is all about!
When you focus solely on food and diet you will lose weight but you will NOT keep it off. Keeping the weight off is all about your IDENTITY, you need to evolve into a new and improved being, one that has a very different relationship with food than the one you are right now in order to make a permanent transformation.
Your identity and values is what drives your behaviors! So trying to 'adapt' new 'healthy' behaviors never works, unless you change your identity and begin to see yourself as someone that values health.
Pick One Path: when it comes to fitness and weight loss there are just too many distractions, too many contradicting philosophies which confuse people and leave them feeling stranded. Here is what I suggest you do, pick a program/plan and stick to it for the long haul - do not jump ship. Remove all distractions and cancel out all the noise! The most important thing is that you find a program that you LOVE and something that inspires you to become a better version of yourself and then 'stick to it', give it time, it will make it work as long as you're working for those RESULTS!
Losing weight is easy, what makes it seem difficult is the resistance to the idea of change that you attach to the experience and the process of it all.
