A person who spent years learning their craft.A person who answers messages late at night. A person who works overtime during busy seasons. A person who carries the pressure of weddings, grads, vacations, photos, and special moments right alongside their clients (and we love it).

The beauty industry is so much more than “just tans” or “just hair” or “just nails.”

It’s education. It’s sanitation, customer service.
It’s emotional labour, long hours on our feet.
It’s running an entire business behind the scenes while still trying to make every client feel beautiful, comfortable, confident, and cared for.

And while no service industry is perfect, I think sometimes people forget there’s a human being behind the business trying their absolute best.

Your body wash is probably ruining your Tan..🧴

Your fancy “natural” body wash might smell amazing, but if it’s loaded with oils, it’s not your spray tan friend. Oils create a barrier between your skin and the DHA solution, which means your tan either won’t develop properly or it way faster than it should.

And here’s the sneaky part: a lot of “clean” and “natural” products are actually some of the worst offenders. Coconut oil/argon oil/Shea – beautiful for your skin and every day life, terrible in the 24 hours before Spray Tan and afterwards.

What should you use instead? I tell every single client in their prep email. A simple, oil free, sulphate free washed is all you need. Nothing fancy. Just the right thing.

Your tan will thank you! 🙏

on average, a Spray Tan can last anywhere between seven and 14 days, but that depends heavily on prep, hydration, and aftercare.

This is why I spend so much time educating clients before and after their appointment.
