Do you use a natural deodorant?

For years I've known that regular deodorant/antiperspirant contains aluminum and is not healthy, however I struggled to find an effective natural alternative. I spent a lot of $ trying different natural name brand deodorants, until I found that the most effective deodorant is made up of ingredients that I already had in my kitchen!! Try it!

You'll need:
2 tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons arrowroot powder (or non-gmo cornstarch)
coconut oil (enough to moisturize the baking soda and arrowroot powder).

Mix baking soda and arrowroot powder first, and then add just enough coconut oil to moisten the mixture (work slowly to give the coconut oil time to soften as you mix).

If it feels irritating change your ratio to 1 tablespoon baking soda and 3 arrowroot. You can also add in essential oils (a few drops of lavender & tea tree are good choices!) A few recipes online recommend adding in shea butter, but if you choose to do that make sure you go very light on it because it can make your clothes greasy (don't ask me how I know!)
