Ok, I admit it! I REALLY want to make bath bombs for you folks! But I don’t have oodles of extra time (I know you feel me, who has this “extra time?” Can I get some for Christmas?) So, here’s what we are going to do. I can make a couple of different batches of top requested bombs. Have a bomb you bought before and loved it? Mention below. Was hoping to see a bunch at the market I normally attend? Which ones? Post below. These are old pictures from previous years, but top sellers are typically: Coal bombs (that bloom red or green for naughty or nice), Sharks (I’ll make those for sure), Santa, Leg Lamp, Owls, Rainbow unicorns, and basic round bombs. Anything else? Post below, and I’ll work on them this weekend! (My airbrusher has been whimpering sadly in the corner. Neglected)

Bit sad about it, but I’m not doing a market this year. 😢. Swipe to the last picture to see one of the reasons why (maximum time suckage)… But I do have soap! And here’s the line up: We have “Full Moon, Lavender Bloom” (with goat’s milk), “Wild Honey” with local beeswax and honey, “Mountain Folk, Beer Soap” made with beer, “Blackjack Salt Facial Bar” with sea salt, charcoal and essential oils only of peppermint and anise. This is followed by “Oatmeal, Milk and Honey” with local goats milk, honey and beeswax. And lastly, is “Spicy Pumpkin” made with local pumpkin and essences of ginger and cinnamon. Last pic, is our new addition.

If you guessed beer 🍺 as the mystery ingredient for the previous post about the last batch for 2023, you would be correct! Beer makes for a wonderfully, bubbly soap. I used a Guinness that I snuck from my husband’s stash, boiled the alcohol out, then froze as you might have saw. I added a wide gamut of luxurious oils and butters, including avocado oil, shea, and cocoa butter, and used the fragrances of Oatmeal Stout, and Raspberry Ale from to make for a very all-gender nose-friendly, “Mountain Folk Beer Soap”.

Last/late soap batch of the season. For this, super lovely bar, this liquid is full of sugars that, while make for a lovely, bubbly lather, also can make for overheating when combined with the lye, thus I have to freeze it in advance. Any guesses? Tomorrow I”ll post the picture and description of the soap, (made with so many lovely oils and butters, I’m going to keep a few bars for personal use, which I don’t usually do). I’m also going to post all of the soap I have ready and for sale. How is it already December?!

Full Moon Lavender Bloom back on the curing rack! Made with the positively-charged full moon water left out during September’s Harvest Moon, this bar also has the moisturizing qualities of local goat’s milk, and scented in light lavender.
I’ve topped these with flowers carefully selected and dried from my garden. This bar is a top seller. I did double the batch, but when it’s ready, you won’t want to hesitate.
It goes fast!

I have soaps that I haven’t posted yet, plus, yes! There are still shampoo and conditioner bars in stock, but guys, look! I grew lemons! And they are finally ripe! These are Meyers from a baby tree I bought in flower in the early spring. I heard they are heavy feeders and like heat, so it lives in our sunroom, and is fertilized with offerings from our senior rabbit. Will some be made into a soap? (Do you really need to ask?)

They are back in stock! My most popular product, solid shampoo and conditioner bars. Super moisturizing with argan, and jojoba oils, these are perfect for travel or at home. Scented in invigorating citrus scents, I have a tricky time keeping these in stock!

This one is for all you PSL lovers out there.. you know who you are. I admit to loving most things pumpkin (there is a limit..). Meet, “Spicy Pumpkin”. Made with real, local and organic pumpkin, this bar is moisture-rich, and smells like a spicy pumpkin pie. I trialed A LOT of pumpkin fragrance oils, before settling on this one. Not too sweet, with the right balance of sweet and spice, this bar is SURE to please pumpkin lovers out there.
