Crème 47 is Vivier's flagship. It is expensive , and I understand exactly how the number lands, so here is my honest take.

The name is the spec. Forty seven active ingredients in one formulation: peptides, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, growth factor technology. The point is not that more is better. The point is that it consolidates. For a lot of women it replaces three or four separate steps, which is where the per use maths stops matching the shelf price.

Why I am bringing it up now...

🌿 Summer skincare is deliberately light. Fall skin needs more, and this is the step up.

🌿 It is post procedure safe, which matters enormously if you booked a peel or IPL this month.

🌿 It is a Canadian, pharmaceutical grade line with real stability testing behind it. That is the only reason I stock it.

Who it is not for: anyone who has not got the basics in place yet. A retinol and a proper SPF will do more for your skin than any luxury cream. If that is where you are, start there, and I will tell you so.

Who it is for: someone with the fundamentals handled, heading into fall, who wants one product doing the work of several.

After enough years in the room, the same five come up. Not the ones people ask on the phone. The ones they ask once they have sat down and the door is shut.

"Will people be able to tell?" This is the one I hear most, and it is a fair thing to want. We plan conservatively and in stages for exactly that reason. You are always the one who decides how far anything goes, and you can stop at any point.

"Am I too young? Am I too late?" Neither, usually. Different ages call for different things, and what I would suggest for a woman in her thirties is nothing like what I would suggest at fifty-five. That is a conversation, not a rule.

"Does it hurt?" Some of it, a little, for a short time. I will tell you honestly which is which before you book, not after.

"What if I don't like it?" Then we talk about it. That is part of the aftercare, not a complaint.

"Is it silly to come in for something this small?" No. Most first visits are one small thing.

There is no question here I have not already been asked, and none of them are silly. The only bad one is the one that keeps someone from booking for another two years.

Everyone calls us in May. By then it is too late to finish before summer, and half the time the skin is already too sun exposed to treat safely.

Here is the actual timeline. Laser hair removal is a series, not a session. You need roughly six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, because the laser only works on hair that is in its active growth phase, and at any given moment only some of your hair is. Start in September and you are finished around March.

Why fall is the right window:

🌸 Your tan is fading. The laser targets pigment in the hair, so it needs contrast between the hair and the skin around it. Tanned skin makes that harder and less safe.

🌸 Aftercare asks you to stay out of the sun for a week or two after each session. In September that is a rule you will actually follow. In July it is not.

🌸 You are covered up anyway, so growing it out between sessions costs you nothing.

First, the honest small print, because I would rather you hear it from me than find out at the till.

This is 20% off individual services. Packages and series are not included this year, and neither are gift cards or retail. So this is not the month to buy the six session laser bundle at a discount. It is the month to book one good appointment for less.

Which changes what you should point it at. Here is my honest ranking.

1. The thing you keep talking yourself out of.

Everyone has one. The treatment you look at, think about, and then book the cheaper thing instead. Twenty percent is usually the exact size of the gap between wanting it and doing it.

2. Whatever your biggest single appointment would be.

It is a percentage, so it is worth the most on the priciest thing on your list. Your injectables appointment. A Platinum HydraFacial rather than the Signature. The bigger treatment area rather than the small one.

3. A single IPL or microneedling session.

Both sit in the same range and both are fall treatments we could not do for you in July. One session at 20% off is a genuinely good way to start something you were going to start anyway.

4. A peel, booked for October.

October is the strongest peel month of the year. Booking one on the 12th locks the price now and sets your skin up before the holidays.

Two things before you go….

🌿 If you have been putting off a treatment because summer was too full, fall is the better season for most of what we do. Less sun, calmer healing, better results. Coming up for Thanksgiving or a fall weekend is plenty of time.

🌿 Keep an eye on us next Saturday. We run one sale a year and it lands on the 12th. You do not have to be up here to use it, and the appointment can be whenever you are next in town.
