As Christmas approaches, Kevin and I would like to thank everyone who has walked through the door this year — whether you’ve been coming here for decades back when it was Harold’s, or you’ve joined us more recently.

This shop has a long history in Parry Sound, and it’s been an honour to be welcomed into it. The kindness, patience, stories, and loyalty from this community have meant a great deal to both of us. We truly appreciate the trust you’ve shown as the shop carries on under a new name.

🎉 Happy 65th Birthday to Kevin Baker! 🎉
From all of us at Connelly’s Barbershop (formerly Harold’s Barbershop), we want to celebrate an incredible man and a true Parry Sound legend.

Kevin has been barbering for 46 years, carrying on the legacy started by his father, Harold, who opened the town’s original barbershop. Generation after generation have sat in Kevin’s chair — not just for a haircut, but for the conversation, the laughter, and the sense of community he brings with every trim.

Even though Kevin could retire, he loves the people of Parry Sound far too much to hang up his clippers just yet. He’s made it clear — he plans to keep taking care of his loyal barbershop friends for a while longer. Whether he’s talking hockey, local news, or just sharing a good story, folks don’t just come for a haircut… they come to see Kevin.

Harold's Barber Shop is happy to welcome Kyle Connelly to our haircutting team.
Kyle comes to us from a shop in Midland where he honed his skills with his brother who is also a barber. He brings years of experience and a new and bright outlook to the shop. Now with Kyle being part of the team we can thankfully shorten the wait times for your appointments .
We would like to thank everyone for their patience during our search for someone to fill Tracy's chair and we are looking forward to seeing you all soon!!!!
