Dona Bona Cards
Greeting cards featuring the work of Canadian artists and photographers - available online at www.Do Hi! I'm Sharon Krushel.
I founded this Canadian card company because I love collaborating with artists and photographers and promoting the beauty and culture of Canada. The cards feature photographic and fine art images on the front, and often there are images and/or a greeting or quote inside. The contributing artist is credited on the back of the card, sometimes with a photo and/or story.

I'm off to Grande Prairie to attend the Northern Alberta Tourism Summit! Thank you for inviting me, Tammy - Mighty Peace Tourism! Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association
I have a passion for sharing the beauty of the Peace Country with the Mother Earth Book and Dona Bona Cards.
We'll be giving a "Peace Country Dance" card to each attendee who stops by the table.
And I donated a Mother Earth book for a door prize. :)

The greeting is:
May the joy,
light, and colour of life
appear
and inspire you
to join in the
dance.
Here's the story on the back of the card:
On October 10, 2024, our beloved Bishop’s wife called to tell us about a show she was sure we’d want to see. We are blessed to live on the edge of town with the Peace River hills in our backyard, so my husband and I scrambled up to the “first balcony” behind our house to watch the heavens perform a once-in-a-universe live improv work of art. We felt like we were the only ones in the theatre except for the trees and forest creatures.
It is a challenge to convey the miraculous beauty of the Aurora borealis with a single photograph, because it is the movement that is most intriguing… the morphing of colours and shapes with bursts of brightness here…and there…sky spirits dancing from one part of the stage to another and back again in different costumes. Sometimes I’ll see a circle dance or angel wings or a bird. My husband imagines being a little mouse looking up into the living room drapes being blown about.
I was raised on country dances, and I have fond memories of people waltzing, jiving, square dancing, line dancing, bird dancing… my cousin, Hazel, whirling me around the dance floor doing the polka with such joy and fun it left us breathless and laughing with delight.
The northern lights, on this night of nights, beckoned me into a Peace Country dance.
The music was silent, my breathing deep, and my soul romanced.
