Ottawa Valley Light Therapy

Why did I spend so much money on a light, you may ask - well I have a beautiful young daughter who has had nothing but serious health struggles for most of her life. She suffers from a connective tissue disease called hypermobility type Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and as a result, has many health problems including POTS, a type of dysautonomia which rendered her bedbound, unable to even stand up, by the age of 6 yrs old. We have worked hard for years to get her functional again. As a result of EDS and/or POTS, she developed a condition called SIBO - Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, which was diagnosed by the GI doctor at CHEO. Treatment for SIBO is difficult, and often fails. She did the antibiotics, which after 2 weeks of extreme illness, seemed to help the SIBO, but it came back within weeks. We could tell this because of the bloating - SIBO causes painful and embarrassing bloating as well as severe stomach pain and issues gaining weight - it is essentially the overgrowth of the E.coli bacteria in the small intestine, where no such bacteria should reside. The doctors usually just give more and more antibiotics, which I was not at all keen on, especially after the week of constant vomiting caused by the Flagyl antibiotic.

We did a lot to help her with SIBO, including low fodmap which I think helped to keep things under control for a while, and thousands of dollars of different supplements, which did nothing. The main thing that I believe has worked was the Firefly which is known to get deep into the body and kill bacteria and viruses.

We used the Firefly on her gut twice daily for many weeks, and then just here and there for a while, and she no longer bloats, no matter what she eats! We have not used the light on her now for 3-4 months and the results have sustained. Most people with SIBO are on super restrictive diets - our child now eats anything she wants, including ice cream! We also use magnesium citrate religiously to keep the whole system moving along, but we had always done that and that does not stop SIBO as it works in the large intestine.

You can see in the picture in the black top which was taken Christmas 2023 that she was becoming painfully thin at only 67lbs and 12 yrs of age. The picture in the blue top was taken this morning after she has been able to gain 18 lbs - the black top is now gone as it is too small - she is finally growing out of clothing and has some energy and vitality coming back! This light is simply amazing!

Fascinating testimonial - note - I do not have an F-Scan which is a scanner that scans the body for pathogens then, if you have the professional machine, it is set to zap those "frequencies".
